SEM Architects provided full design and construction services for two similar “Readiness Centers” National Guard facilities in West Virginia. The Summersville Center was designed as a shared use Community Center Facility that was large enough to accommodate conferences and trade show exhibitors. In addition to 120+ exhibitor spaces; the Assembly Hall also features retractable bleachers with seating for 750 people.
SEM Architects was hired by Advanced Engineering Consultants (AEC) to develop office space and a mezzanine within the existing high bay space of the Ohio Dept. of Transportation (ODOT) District 6 Traffic Building. The office space consists of an enclosed supervisor’s office and an open office area with eight independent work stations. The mezzanine was developed in the open space above the office area. The mezzanine is suitable for light equipment storage and is accessed by a commercial stair. A removable railing section allows for fork-lift access.
SEM Architects was hired by Advanced Engineering Consultants (AEC) to assist with a conditions evaluation for an existing elevator at the Ohio Dept. of Transportation (ODOT) District 10 Facility. The goal of the assessment was to evaluate the condition of the elevator, identify deficiencies, and make recommendations for repair and/or replacement (if needed).
Architectural design for a new building addition (2 hour rated, slab on grade) to house an Electrical Room for standby power (a 208/120V, 3Ø Diesel Generator with sub-base fuel tank) for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Aviation Hangar, Don Scott Airfield.
